In the Surgical Technology program at the University of Saint Francis, you will have the unique opportunity to experience four semesters of clinical courses. This approach allows you to gain early exposure to the operating room environment, while gradually taking on more responsibility. By graduation, you will likely have participated in more than 160 surgical procedures in all surgical specialties. During clinical sessions, you will be closely supervised by USF faculty, all of whom are experienced surgical technologists and educators.
Upon completion of the Surgical Technology program, you should feel competent and ready for employment as a certified surgical technologist. The program’s high employment rate testifies to the confidence employers have in USF graduates.
